I reached out to the manufacturer, Advent, who said the Advent Air Replacement RV Air Conditioner for Dometic Setup with Start Capacitor # ACDOM150 (White) and # ACDOM150B (Black) are fully sealed, and it is not intended for them to have their coolant or refrigerant recharged.
They said it may be possible for a professional technician with the proper equipment to do it, but they do not recommend it. view full answer...
The electric brake wire on the 2005 GMC Savana Van models would be connected in one of two ways. If your van came equipped with a factory 7-Way, then the blue brake wire is already ran from the 7-Way plug in the back of the vehicle and up into the cab. You would not make a connection in the rear of the vehicle. The wire would be located under the dash, near the emergency brake pedal.
You will need to hard wire to install a brake controller, as the 2005 Savana vans should not have any... view full answer...
The red wire from the brake controller will need to get run to the stoplight switch of the brake on your 2014 GMC Savana Van. You will want to use a circuit tester like part # PTW2993 to determine which wire on your BCM that will see voltage when the pedal is pressed and none when released.
When we installed a brake controller on a similar van as yours we found the wire to be blue with a white stripe at the BCM located behind the dash on the passenger side. view full answer...
We actually have not seen the hook arms of the Longview Tow Mirrors part # LVT-1700 that fit your 2017 GMC Savana break often. I went through our reviews and didn't find any mention of it. If you install these mirrors properly I would not anticipate them having any issues. In the off chance something doe happen we do have replacement hooks with the part # KLV-1710. view full answer...
You can reverse with the Curt MV Weight Distribution System part # C17062 but it's recommend that you unhook the spring bars so you don't put the system into a bind. This is pretty standard practice for pretty much any weight distribution system. It's pretty easy to unhook the spring bars but you shouldn't really be doing this all too often anyhow. view full answer...
Vehicle manufacturers can change a particular wire color without notice, sometimes even within a single vehicle production run. This is why we recommend always testing to confirm a wire's function. A circuit tester like # PTW2993 makes it easier to know you have the correct wire. The linked video illustrates use of a tester.
The wire you're looking for is the one that carries a signal ONLY when the brake pedal is pressed and at no other time. This wire will connect to the red input wire... view full answer...
When we installed a brake controller in a similar 2016 Chevy Express Van we had to tap into the fuse box under the hood for the stoplight circuit. If you check out the 14:00 minute mark you can see how we accomplished this. I also attached a picture that shows the fuse we used pointed out. view full answer...
There are a couple of ways to wire in a brake controller on your 2003 GMC Savana Van and it depends on if the van has a factory 7-Way trailer connector or not.
First, if it does have a factory 7-Way trailer connector the blue brake output wire will already be ran from the front of the van to the back. It should be located under the dash near the emergency brake pedal. The blue wire goes to the blue wire on the brake controller, in this case the P3 # 90195, and the other end to the 7 o'clock... view full answer...
The 2004 GMC van will not have the connector under the dash like those found in GM trucks.
If the van has the OE 7-way connector at the rear bumper, the blue brake output wire will be ran from the 7-way to the area near the emergency brake pedal and would connect to the blue wire on the brake controller. We do not offer a plug for the controller, so you would need to remove it. The remaining wires would need to be hardwired. The white wire would run to the negative battery terminal, the... view full answer...
A brake controller will have to be hardwired into your 2007 GMC Savana. If your van came with a factory installed 7-Way trailer connector, then the brake output wire should already be ran back to the 7-Way. It terminates under the dash near the emergency brake pedal. It should be a blue wire.
The remaining wires will have to be hardwired in. White grounds to the negative battery terminal. Black goes to the positive battery terminal via a 30-amp circuit breaker. And red goes to the cold... view full answer...

It sounds like you are nearly complete but just for your reference your van may already be pre-wired for a brake controller. If you look under the dash of your 2011 GMC Savana RV cutaway there should be a wire bundle held together with white tape. The bundle should be located under the left side of the instrument panel and to the left of the steering column. The wires can be identified by a white label and the color of the wires. The wire colors are (1) Red/Black wire, (1) White wire, (1)... view full answer...
The only suspension enhancement kit we offer for your 2016 GMC Savana 2500 passenger van that is going to provide additional support and improve ride quality and handling is the RoadActive Suspension kit part # RAS2613-M. You are correct. The Curt wiring harness, # C55335, plugs in line with the tail light wiring and you will not have to splice into the wires at all. I have included a link to the installation details for you to view.
Models that originally came with a 4-Way from the factory but need a replacement would use a different harness, # 118240. I have included a link to a video that shows how this harness installs. view full answer...
In order to find the right shackle strap length to go with the Road Armor Shock Absorbing Equalizer Kit # LC696740 on your 2014 Keystone Passport you will need to measure your current shackle straps. It is important to keep them the same length as the ones you currently have. See the diagram below which shows where to measure.
I recommend upgrading to heavy duty shackle straps and wet bolts in addition to the Road Armor equalizer. If you have 2-1/4" shackle straps you could use the # MR46ZR... view full answer...

I am not 100 percent certain which fuse you are referring to for installation of the Tekonsha Voyager Trailer Brake Controller # 39510 with Brake Control Plug-In Harness # 20127 though I took a look at an online copy of the owner's manual for a 2017 GMC Savana and the fuses are listed starting on page 248.
Also keep in mind if you are looking for the cold side of the stop light switch it will only have voltage with a circuit tester like # PTW2979 when you press the brake pedal.

The brake controller power circuit on your 2017 GMC Savana Van is ran on a red/white wire that is under the dash, taped to three or four other wires with blunt cut ends. If this wire does not have power then you will need to connect the other end to the stud on your fuse box which can be seen in the attached photo. If you cannot locate the other end then you have a few options; call your local dealer to see if the location of this wire has changed or run your own power circuit using the... view full answer...
I can tell you were to access the correct brake switch wire to install a brake controller on your 2014 GMC Savana Van. You will need to access the wire behind the BCM (body control module) located behind the dash on the passenger's side of the vehicle.
There should be a brown connector coming out of the back of the BCM. At that connector you should find a light blue/white wire. This is the wire that carriers the dedicated brake light signal. Use a circuit tester such as # PTW2993 to confirm... view full answer...
